Gautam Goyal is the Founder & CEO of Three Pillars Capital, a real estate private equity firm. His firm continues to deliver returns to investors and grow with the hard work & ingenuity of Gautam & Josh, his business partner & co-founder. As a graduate of a high school from Fort Bend County and the University of Houston, Gautam is deeply passionate about giving opportunities to students to succeed who might otherwise get overlooked. He benefited from grants and scholarships himself and knows how valuable they can be to a student who needs them.

Award:

  • Amount: 1st year’s college-related expenses starting with an award amount of $10,000/student per semester with no upper limit.
  • Decision By: May 1st of each calendar year.

Eligibility:

  • High school senior who attends school in Harris or Fort Bend County
  • Applicant must have at least the following: o G.P.A. of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent
  • A minimum SAT score (math/reading combined) of 1200 or an ACT score of 15 (composite)
  • Copy of acceptance letter for Fall 2023 on a full-time basis
  • Applicant must submit a completed application
  • Applicant must attend Scholarship Reception

Application Requirements:

  • Complete the scholarship application form
  • Essay- On a separate sheet of paper, type a minimum 500-word essay on the following topic: Describe how the importance of good leadership will set you apart and attribute to your success while attending University. You will be assessed on your ability to communicate your thoughts. Your essay should include reasons for attending university, personal career objectives, higher education plans, and any additional information you feel will assist the selection committee. The essay should be double-spaced, font-Times New Roman, font size 12, with one-inch margins on all sides, with your name typed in the upper right corner of each page.
  • Three recommendation letters from 3 teachers.
  • Official high school transcript that includes first semester grades of the senior year.
